Do you want to break a language barrier? YETA will definitely help you!
Hello everybody! My name is Dasha, I’m 22 and I would like to share with you my experience of learning English at YETA.
So, as most of us I’ve been learning English since school, but unfortunately there wasn’t any systematic approach of teaching us English and regular intensive speaking practice. I would even say there wasn’t any communicative practice at all! That’s why I had lots of difficulties in speaking and listening in English. For instance, when I had a conversation in English with somebody I was extremely confused, nervous and shy. Needless to say, I was really frustrated with this issue, especially, considering the fact that I was looking for a job, which required quite a high level of proficiency in English.
And five months ago I started learning English again to break the language barrier and gain confidence in myself. That was my biggest aim!
I decided to take an English course at YETA, because a good friend of mine recommended me this school. After that I visited its website to get more information about YETA. Actually I found many advantages of this place. They are as follows: a great team of experienced teachers, attractive feedbacks, the best location (that’s a really important thing for me) and the price (you could easily check it and compare with other schools).
Talking about the process of learning, I must confess that I really enjoyed it: cozy atmosphere, very useful educational material, involving tasks and enthusiastic groupmates, comfortable schedule. And, of course, my teacher! If you don’t know her, let me explain! Kate always does her best for her students: she meets every student’s need and demand (gives tips and extra training tasks), creates good mood for everyone, has a perfect sense of humor (it helped me not to be shy and always increased my interest); and there is no doubt that she has very good skills in English, an excellent pronunciation and charming voice. In a nutshell, Kate is a really nice person and the best teacher ever, who helped me to achieve my aim!
Do you want to improve your English, speak fluently without a hesitation? That’s great, you are on the right track! In this case I recommend you YETA!
There is one more extremely important thing – if you want to get an excellent result, you must study hard! There are no miracles! Nobody can do that instead of you. Do exercises every day and practise at least 20 minutes a day. That was the main difficulty I faced on my way. I think I’ve solved this problem through the habit of practicing. Every day I have so called ‘English time’, even though I’ve already finished my classes.
Thanks to YETA lessons I gained inner resources and extra material for the correct self-education (I know how to keep and enrich my vocabulary and level of English). Nowadays, I don’t’ have enough free time. But if I have an opportunity, I’ll continue my ‘YETA story’ with greater pleasure and probably not only in English 🙂
